Santa Teresa Fortress and Park
Only 3 km away from Punta Del Diablo you will find this lovely national park where the peacefulness and beauty of its landscape will help you relax and enjoy one of the most remarkable places in the area. Nature and 17th century history blend in this magnificent fortress which reminds us of the times when the Spanish and the Portuguese fought for this land.

 

Laguna Negra (Black Lagoon)
A splendid natural spot in a protected area where you will be able to watch several species of birds and mammals, its native forest as well as its beautiful marshlands.

 

Chuy
48 km away from the hostel you can visit El Chuy; a border city with both Uruguayan and Brazilian sides. There you will find the distinctive features of a border city in which you cross the street and go from Uruguay to Brazil. There are plenty of shops, markets, street stalls and duty free shops where you will find anything you wish to purchase at very convenient prices.

 

Turtles centre
Located at only 15 km (10 mi.) from Punta del Diablo, at the Turtles Centre you will learn everything about these impressive animals. There are guided tours.
